My name is Donna Loranger and I am running for State Representative in Salem, my home for 23 years. I love this town, and I want to give back to this community.
Next year, our legislature will face unprecedented challenges because of the losses in revenues, jobs and businesses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to address these challenges and come out stronger, we need honest and fair leaders who believe all voices should be heard. As a recently retired project manager, I know how to listen to all sides and encourage knowledge-sharing to find the best solution for everyone.
We need to search for new ways to stimulate New Hampshire’s economy. We cannot let the economic condition of the state fall solely on the shoulders of local property taxpayers. I will fight to ensure we prioritize funding for public education and social services. I am passionate about promoting affordable healthcare for all and continuing to improve the quality of New Hampshire water.
We need new voices and new ideas. Every two years, the town of Salem sends nine representatives to the NH House, but our town has not had Democratic representation in many years. I am ready to change that and be the first of many Democrats elected to represent Salem, because all of Salem has a right to be heard. It is time to make history!
Please join me in this journey and support my candidacy.
Be good to yourself and others. We are all we have.
