Listen. Learn. Lead.
Covid-19 and protests against racism are testing the bonds of our Union. Economic vulnerabilities and healthcare disparities have been exposed. Nearly every issue has become polarized.
Salem is not immune to these realities.
Yet, we also witness daily acts of heroism by essential workers and first responders; we see peaceful protesters and police officers marching together.
If we build on that goodwill, we can emerge a stronger community and a more unified nation.
My 32 years in information technology taught me to value science and to seek fact-based solutions. As a team leader I learned one could lead only by listening to, learning from and supporting colleagues.
I spent the previous 15 years as a Franciscan priest, ministering at home and abroad. I was chaplain to NATO forces in Holland serving parishioners from a variety of cultures. Again, I understood it was essential to listen and learn. While abroad I also obtained my PhD in Religious Studies (summa cum laude) from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. My ministry and education enabled me to better understand and deepen my values.
My candidacy is driven by my education and the experiences of those years in ministry and business.
My wife Lynne and I have lived in Salem 18 years. I am an elected trustee of the Salem Trust Funds and volunteer at the Salem Animal Rescue League and Isaiah 58 NH.
As your State Representative, I will listen to you, learn from you, and craft rational policies that are good for Salem and New Hampshire.
